Cable Gland accessories are available on request to facilitate external earthing, environmental sealing, and securing the cable gland at the cable entry point. Various options are available in a host of different materials and finishes, with all thread variations and sizes catered for, and for all imaginable situations. Shrouds are also offered in a variety of sizes and materials to suit customer specific requirements where necessary. Cable Gland Accessories includes:

Brass Locknuts (PG Metric & NPT)

Brass locks nuts are traditional components in fastening glands to the gland plate & as they are identical material to the glands, corrosion effects are minimal.

Surface Finish / Plantings:	Nickel Plated Tin Plated Zinc Any special plantings as per specifications.

Brass Earth Tags

Installed between the gland entry & equipment provides an earth bond connection.

Materials:	Brass BS 2874 CZ 121
Surface Finish / Plantings:	Zinc Plated Nickel Plated Tin Plated Neutral Brass Any special plating’s as per specifications.

Hexagonal Reducers & stop Plugs

Reducer allows a PG threaded gland to be terminated in enclosures with different entry thread from (ET, BSP, NPT, and BSPT)

Surface Finish / Plantings:	Zinc Plated Nickel Plated Tin Plated Neutral Brass Any special plating’s as per specifications.

PVS Shrouds

Push on Shrouds which are used to minimize the risk of dirt or foreign substances gathering on the cable gland body, and/or point of cable to a gland interface.

Materials:	PVC DIP molded (Black)
Operating Temp:	PVC DIP molded -20 °C to +100 °C

Seals & ‘O’ Rings

To maintain the IP rating between equipments & cable glands it may be necessary to fit an entry thread sealing washer at the gland entry interface.

Materials:	Nitrite rubber & EPDM PVC (black) Silicon (orange) Polyamide or Nylon (white) Red Fabre.
